BHBA Law Watch*
Law Watch updates notify Section members of new California legal
developments in the subject matter indicated by the Law Watch heading. BHBA
members have unlimited access to a rolling three (3) years of case law,
including California Supreme Court and Court of Appeals and the Ninth
Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
The Entertainment Law Executive Committee has chosen the search criteria for the
Law Watch updates. If you have any suggestions as to key words, etc. please
contact your Section Chairs (Gordon P. Firemark
or
Kenneth Freundlich) or a member of the
Executive Committee.

Use of Law Watch
A click on the Law Watch icon will bring summaries of new cases with the
most recent case appearing first. A click on the name and citation of the
summarized case will bring the full case, opened to the first occurrence in
the case of the original search term that found the new case.
A click on any
case or other document cited in the new case will bring that other case or
document to you, provided it is included anyplace in Loislaw’s database
Members should not treat the updates as comprehensive legal research. Law
Watch updates are prospective only. No historical materials are included.
The number of new developments since Law Watch was last purged of old
information (usually after about 90 days) is indicated near the Law Watch
icon.
