Central Probate calendar change

Because of a budget shortfall, the court will be withdrawing one bailiff from the three probate courts effective JANUARY 1, 2008. As a consequence, the court must change the days on which it calls calendars so that no more than two courts are hearing a calendar at any time.

Therefore, effective January 1, 2008,

Dept 5 will hear calendars on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Dept 9 will hear calendars on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Dept 11 will hear calendars on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Public Guardian calendar remains on Friday.

The courts will continue to hear trials on days and times they are not hearing calendars. I know that this will create inconvenience for attorneys because of conflicts with dates that the district courts hear calendars, and I apologize for this inconvenience.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns about this new schedule.
