The protection of trade secrets, perhaps the most misunderstood of all types of intellectual property, presents unique and difficult challenges for lawyers and clients alike. Our panelists, all of whom have extensive trade secret experience, will outline the basics of the Uniform Trade Secrets Act, provide practice tips, and share their insights, both from the perspective of in-house counsel and outside lawyers, on how to keep these all-important secrets secret in litigation and non-litigation contexts.
