The Truth About
Net Profits and Audits

You will not want to miss three experienced royalty auditors who will bring you up to date on what they are encountering in royalty audits of motion picture, television, music and new media companies. The panel will outline when should an audit be done, where the areas of concern are and how are they resolved. The panel will discuss the cutting edge accounting issues and recent legal developments, including whether there can be a claim for breach of fiduciary duties and/or punitive damages, whether “equitable accounting” issues should be tried first, statute of limitations issues, and when pre-judgment interest should be awarded.
