Free Membership for New California State Bar Admittees

New California State Bar admittees (not previously admitted to any other jurisdiction) are entitled to up to one year free  BHBA membership. It's our way of saying, "Congratulations!"

  • Sections are organized by substantive law practice areas.  Those in practice three years or more
    may join the first two sections for $60; and $25 for each additional section thereafter.  Those in practice one to three years, law students or those awaiting bar results may join the first two sections FREE; and then $25 for each additional section thereafter

Non-Attorneys-
Pursuant to Article 9 Section 6 of the Association Bylaws, non-attorneys may participate in section and committee activities but are not (and may not hold themselves out to be) members of the Association.  Prior to choosing sections and/or committees you must complete application and pay appropriate dues.
