Personnel Referral Service PRS is a personnel placement service operating for members of the Association.  PRS offers qualified pre-screened temporary and permanent legal secretaries, general office, and law office receptionists to BHBA members at below-market fees.  

Whether you're looking for permanent or temporary personnel, the Beverly Hills Bar Association Personnel Referral Service can save you $$$ over other employment agencies.

What type of personnel is available?
The BHBA's Personnel Referral Service has been serving the legal community exclusively since 1980 and its staff understands your personnel needs.  A wide range of experienced support staff is available including:
  • Top legal secretaries (experienced in specific legal fields)

  • Receptionists
  • File clerks

Since our staff does not work on a commission basis, you'll be sent only qualified applicants who have been screened and tested, saving you time.   All inquiries are confidential.

PRS screens and tests all applicants so we provide the best staff to meet your law office needs. Our temporary personnel have at least 3 years' work experience in the areas of litigation, entertainment and corporate law.

Because we know our candidates and we understand your business, we strive to offer the most qualified support personnel for our attorneys at the most reasonable fees. Our first rate secretaries are available to work on short notice and to handle emergencies, even at night and on weekends. 

Run by a bar association for lawyers, PRS was founded on the premise that a bar association does a better job of providing secretarial and law office support personnel to its members and the legal community. For two decades, the unique BHBA PRS service has built an enviable reputation by providing you and all our Westside clients with the best legal support staff available.

In addition, PRS operates a legal secretarial school to train members' personnel as well as to create a larger pool of candidates to place with members.
