Sections/Committees

Each Section emphasizes a practice area of substantive law by providing continuing education programs as well as a forum for section members to stay current, sharpen their legal and leadership skills, meet with judges, advocate legislatively and network. Most sections hold regular luncheon or dinner meetings and conduct an annual half-day seminar (e.g., “Update on the Law”) at convenient Westside locations.

BHBA members may join up to two Sections for $60. Additional sections may be joined at $25 each. Committees are at no additional cost. Members receive discount admission to all
MCLE programs. In fact, if members meet all their MCLE requirements through the BHBA, their discount would recoup the cost of annual membership.

The Association tracks each member’s attendance at BHBA MCLE programs
and can distribute a  printout of credits earned .
