The civil
procedures described in this program are used in all types of
litigation, i.e., personal injury/wrongful death, construction
defects, malpractice, breach of contract, business law, real
property law, family law etc. However other documentation may be
necessary for filing other types of complaints, such as
certificate of merit, preliminary injunction, temporary
restraining order.
There are a variety of methods of discovery. What method of
discovery is used for a particular lawsuit depends on the type
of case and the information that is already available. This
program will cover general information regarding all discovery
methods such as Discover/Discovery Motion Cutoff, Computation of
Discovery Cutoff and Discovery Motion Cutoff, Service and Filing
of Discovery Documents, Calendaring, Sanctions, Interrogatories
and Responses.
