Elder Law Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section
and the Health Law Committee
Presents
What Every Attorney Needs to Know about the New OpportunitiesUnder California's Expanded Medi-Cal Program
Many attorneys, fiduciaries and financial professionals are still unaware of the significant consequences from California's expansion of its Medi-Cal program. There are new financial and family criteria for eligibility which result in health care coverage and long-term care services for an entirely new population in the state. Our speaker, a prominent health care consultant and former program director for seniors and people with disabilities with L.A. Care Plan, will discuss the eligibility and implications for expanded Medi-Cal. This bar program is a absolute must for any attorney or other professional who advises families who may need healthcare or long-term care coverage in California.
