A program designed for those currently practicing in employment law as well as those looking to expand into this area of practice. This program will encompass an in-depth discussion of the basics and well beyond, including wage & hour, discrimination (including transgender), hiring practices, managing leaves of absence, arbitration, PAGA and other hot topics.This program will also provide information essential not only to those who represent employees and employers, but also to those who advise businesses generally, whether or not they practice employment law.Speakers:

Eve H. Wagner of Sauer & Wagner LLP. Ms. Wagner has been practicing employment law for 30 years, and also serves as a mediator and arbitrator. Ms. Wagner is the Chair of the Labor & Employment Section of the BHBA.

Peter J. Marx, Mediator/Arbitrator with ARC. Mr. Marx has been a mediator for more than 25 years, and has successfully handled hundreds of employment cases. This followed a distinguished career as a litigator and transactional attorney. Mr. Marx is a member of the Executive Committee of the Labor & Employment Section of the BHBA.
