This panel discussion will address developments in class action litigation, including class arbitration waivers, PAGA (and Williams v. Superior Court), Labor Code section 558.1, good practices in preparing a trial management plan post Duran in wage and hour class actions: sampling, surveys, and statistical implications, and issues in approving class action settlements.

Speakers:

Tagore Subramanian, Matern Law Group, P.C.
Tagore Subramaniam is a Senior Attorney at Matern Law Group, PC. He has successfully litigated and favorably resolved class actions on behalf of thousands of employees, as well as cases involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

Corey Hayden, EzerWilliamson Law
For approximately three decades, Mr. Hayden practiced at various large Los Angeles law firms, representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment disputes. Subsequently, Mr. Hayden was a partner at RGLawyers, LLP, where he practiced for over six years representing both employees and companies in employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions, wrongful termination, and employment litigation. Mr. Hayden is currently Senior Counsel at EzerWilliamson Law.
