This program will explore issues arising after a homeowner files bankruptcy from the perspective of the borrower, the mortgage lender and the bankruptcy trustee. The discussion from the three disparate points of view will highlight the challenges in reconciling bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy law, regulatory requirements, relief from stay issues and the conflicting goals of the three sides.
