The revisions to the Rules of Professional Conduct were not the only important development in the realm of legal ethics in 2018. There were also significant decisions in the area of conflict waivers, especially the California Supreme Court's recent opinion in Sheppard Mullin v. J-M Manufacturing, as well as new legislatively mandated disclosures required in connection with mediation. This interactive program will dive into these developments, including a discussion of how they interact with the new rules.
