2019 Property Tax Updates: Change in Ownership Issues,Hot Topics and Assessment Procedures and Rules

Matthew Burke will discuss the Prop 13 change in ownership rules as they apply to succession planning and trust and estate administration. As in prior years, the program will cover relevant updates and changes to laws and Board of Equalization opinions and will be peppered with anecdotal stories of "what to do" and "what not to do." New for this year, the materials will outline the procedural rules on supplemental and escape assessments and will discuss the trick and traps in post-death administration.
